Course Description
This program provides a comprehensive review of manual muscle testing techniques for all joints of the upper and lower extremities. Forms and handouts are provided in PDF format.
Learning Outcomes
1. Identify the muscles involved for manual muscle testing for each body part.
2. Identify the positioning for testing muscle strength against gravity.for each body part
3. Identify the positioning for muscle testing with gravity eliminated for each body part.
4. List the benefits and contraindications for manual muscle testing
5. List the various muscle grades and their definitions
