Different organizations use different acronyms and different continuing education reporting measures. All of the following reporting measures are equivalent to 1 contact hour.
1 contact hour is equivalent to 60 clock minutes.
1 contact hour is equivalent to 1 (NBCOT) PDU.
1 contact hour is equivalent to 1 (one tenth) of a CEU.
A CEU is a federal standardized measure establish by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training, (IACET). 1 full CEU is equivalent to 10 contact hours.
