RC3 Intervention Strategies (76 min.)
Presented by Rona Alexander, Ph.D., CCC-SLP. This video discusses and addresses the functional base of the rib cage for improving mobility of the rib cage and active trunk and shoulder control as it relates to overall oral-motor function. Intervention strategies are explained and demonstrated.
RC7 Treatment Demonstration (80 min.)
Presented by Rona Alexander, Ph.D., CCC-SLP. This video demonstrates a treatment session with a child of 2 years old, who demonstrates issues of alignment, mobility and structural development problems with his rib cage and respiratory development.

1. Describe basic intervention strategies to improve rib cage function and influence respiration, phonation, and oral-motor control.
2. Describe how the intervention strategies used changed the child's function base of support for respiration, trunk and rib cage mobility.
