Course Description
This is a Mutti Media course consisting of Text, Photos, and Short Video Clips.

The ability to dress oneself is closely related to self-esteem, body awareness and independence. Even when physical coordination is severely impaired, the child can enjoy the process and take part in the dressing procedure by choosing the outfit, establishing color preferences and anticipating the event where the outfit will be worn.

Learning this complex and variable process increases the richness of life and provides the individual with vocabulary and common experiences that form a basis for social communication.

This program presents a comprehensive dressing skills evaluation and video demonstration of assisted dressing for the child with neuromotor challenges along with strategies for gaining more independence.
