Course Description
This program dealt the issues involved in drooling. The functions and production of saliva are discussed. Causes for drooling and treatment approaches are presented. Case studies detail advantages and disadvantages of various treatment concepts including postural adjustment, oral-sensorimotor concepts, the use of pharmaceuticals, behavioral aspects and surgery.
